Signs Now Bradenton keeps pace with "The Runner's Superstore," providing a plethora of visual identity solutions for the Florida-based retailer's newest location

Challenge

Offering footwear, apparel and accessories for runners of all ages and fitness levels, Fit2Run operates 16 locations throughout America’s Sunshine State and beyond.

The retail chain first came to Signs Now Bradenton when performing a two-stage relocation. Moving from one location to a temporary storefront—and eventually a mall in Sarasota—required signage, graphics and displays of virtually all types.

As time passed after that first project, Fit2Run grew and so did its relationship with Signs Now Bradenton. The key to this growth was the signage provider’s responsiveness, attention to detail and cost consciousness. Signs Now Bradenton now delivers hundreds of backlit signs, banners, POP displays, posters, wall murals, window graphics and more to the chain annually. In one 12-month span, the Center supported no fewer than four grand openings!

In mid-2015, Fit2Run wanted to know: Could Signs Now Bradenton duplicate this success at a new Fit2Run store in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to ensure that it hit the ground running?

Solution

One factor that has made Signs Now Bradenton more than a trusted partner to Fit2Run is the Center’s focus on minimizing costs. Whenever possible, the staff suggests solutions that enable the easy swap-out of signage by the retailer’s local employees.

For Fit2Run’s new location in San Juan, Signs Now Bradenton sought to deliver the same high-quality prints with similar savings by printing vinyl in Bradenton and then locating, evaluating and choosing a local vendor that could mount selected signage. This process saved on the expense of shipping heavy PVC (polyvinylchloride) and fiberboard materials.

Success!

As the new San Juan location’s grand opening drew nearer, Signs Now Bradenton was producing 100 signs, graphics and displays—some in Florida and others in San Juan through the services of the local provider.

Signs Now Bradenton dispatched the Center’s General Manager to Puerto Rico for four days to conduct a final quality check and supervise installation, assuring complete signage success at Fit2Run’s newest location.
