+How Do I Install My Laser Engraved Sign?

When it comes to laser engraved signs, small personalized engravings and awards can be easily mounted to a variety of surfaces such as wood, stucco, brick and concrete, and we can provide you guidance and accessories to assist with installation. We can also drill holes or attach brackets to signs to make them easier to install.

For larger engraved signs made for business and regulatory purposes such as laser etched metal signs or laser engraved ADA braille signs, you'll require a certified sign installer to mount the sign. Signs Now Medford can assist with installation of these larger custom signs.

+How Does Laser Engraving Work?

Laser engraving works by using a high-focused laser beam to create permanent marks on an object or material. The laser beam is so hot that it can vaporize tough materials such as stone and metal, leaving high-contrast etchings (or engravings) on the object.

Since it requires no ink, paint or drill bits, laser engraving is a much cleaner technique than many other signmaking methods. The controller or signmaker using the laser engraver machine can determine the exact direction, intensity and spread of the laser beam, allowing for hyper-precise designs and motifs (to within less than a fraction of a millimeter).
