Class act! Signs Now – Beavercreek, Ohio updates four school classrooms with learning-themed floor, wall and window graphics.

The Greene County Career Center offers 17 career-technical programs for students at its own facility as well as through satellite programs at middle and high schools within the Ohio county — including the Ankeny and Coy Middle Schools in the Beavercreek School District.

In classrooms at these two facilities, Beavercreek School administrators hoped to inspire seventh- and eighth-grade students with themes that supported their Project Lead the Way Programs for Automation as well as Robotics, Flight and Space. Floor, wall and window graphics were envisioned — all on an ambitious schedule!

Having earned the trust of the Greene County Career Center on multiple projects dating back to 2000, Signs Now – Beavercreek was the easy choice of administrators for new signage and graphic solutions. Though the spring 2017 design, fabrication and installation challenge for the classrooms proved to be anything but easy...

For the two Automation classrooms, the signage provider created window graphics depicting smartphones and more, a feature wall with an inspirational quote and floor graphics showcasing a circuit board. Designs for the other two classrooms included wall and window graphics portraying space and robotics accented by floor graphics of an overhead view of an airliner flying above the clouds!

Having gained design approval from administrators at both the Beavercreek School District and Greene County Career Center, fabrication and installation crews from Signs Now – Beavercreek went to work.

Avery Dennison MPI 2611 Matte Film was selected for the walls. 3M Scotchcal Graphic Film with Comply Adhesive IJ35C overlaid with General Formulations Concept® 109 Series Vinyl Textured Scratch-Resistant Laminate covered the floors. And Contra Vision® Perforated Window Film was applied to the windows.

Handling a big project from start to finish on a tight timeline while acquiring the approval of multiple school administrators, Signs Now – Beavercreek passed with flying colors! The district plans more classroom redesigns in upcoming years, and Signs Now – Beavercreek will be the first to be called upon for its expertise!
